New Delhi: Motorcycle brand Yezdi is no more a part of the Jawa Motorcycles. Yezdi will now strike out on its own as informed by the Jawa Motorcycles in a post on social media. People have been eager for Yezdi’s come back event in the Indian motorcycle market.
The comeback of such well renowned brands like Jawa Motorcycles, BSA and Yezdi was quite expected after the Mahindra& Mahindra Group invested in the Classic Legends.
Jawa launched its retro-themed motorcycles in India already via sales channel. Now, Yezdi is all set to launch its retro-themed motorcycles in the Indian market.
Anupam Thareja, Co-Founder, Classic Legends, recently tweeted, “About time we brought the other brother back. What say @jawamotorcycles? #Y” This could be an indication that Yezdi is looking forward to prepare a launch. However, its parting ways with Jawa is shocking.
Meanwhile, Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra on Wednesday posted an image of a flyover from above that looks like a ‘Y’ on twitter. In his tweet he me “I guess I’ve got #Y on my mind. After all, the legend is back! #YezdiForever,” Mahindra tweeted.
The Jawa Motorcycles has mentioned about Yezdi’s separation with it. Yezdi might compete with Royal Enfield in the retro-themed above quarter-litre segment.
