New Delhi: Actress Yami Gautam has tied the knot with ‘Uri’ director, Aditya Dhar last month. On Sunday, the newly-weds celebrated their first month anniversary, Yami shared an unseen picture from D-Day with their fans while performing one of the rituals at their wedding. She captioned the pic, “To a month filled with love and gratitude.”
Aditya took the post to his story and wrote “Ek mahina ho bhi gaya? (It’s been a month already?)” Fans are super excited about the news and are congratulating the couple with all their love. They have flooded the comment section with heart-eye and love emojis. Also, many celeb pals have showered their love. The sweetest comment was by one of Yami’s co-stars, Vikrant Massey, he wrote, “Mere do Anmol Ratan.”
Yami and Aditya married in a very intimate ceremony with very few people present following the Covid-19 guidelines on June 4th this year. For the unversed, Aditya Dhar made his directorial debut with ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike.’ He won the 66th National Film Awards in 2019 for directing the film. Uri starred actor Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. While Yami made her Bollywood debut with Vicky Donor and shot to fame with the film. Over the years, she has worked in several big Bollywood films including Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil and Varun Dhawan-starrer Badlapur. She will be seen next in an upcoming direct-to-digital thriller, A Thursday. Yami will be essaying the role of a school teacher, Naina, in the film. A Thursday also stars Neha Dhupia, Dimple Kapadia, Atul Kulkarni, and Maya Sarao in important roles.
