WWE NXT: Mandy Rose retains NXT Women’s Championship with win over Roxanne Perez

New Delhi: NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose retained her title against Roxanne Perez in the main event of the latest edition of NXT 2.0 on July 12.

Perez is the NXT Women’s Tag Team champion with Cora Jade. The team defeated Toxic Attraction’s Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne for the tag team titles at NXT: The Great American Bash.

Roxanne said that she will cash in her NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament contract for Rose’s title. The Goddess was seeking vengeance after being assaulted in the parking lot earlier in the evening.

The match started with Rose using Perez’s injuries to quickly stop the contender’s momentum. Mandy smashed Roxanne’s damaged ribs into the apron and delivered a spine buster to secure a near fall.

The WWE universe was stunned after a few minutes by seeing an unimaginable turn of events, Jade smacked Perez with her Tag Team Title. Rose took advantage of the situation and pinned Roxanne for the win. Cora continued to assault a helpless Perez with her skateboard, screaming that she was the one who made her.

WWE NXT tweeted, “#AndStill THE Attraction @WWE_MandyRose retains the #WWENXT Women’s Championship!” On their official Twitter handle
