Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who arrived in the Jhargram district of West Bengal, addressed a BJP rally.
“You will not get rid of malaria while having Didi. She befriends dengue and malaria. Vote for us, we will eradicate diseases in 2 years. On the one hand, PM Modi is working for tribal welfare, while Didi is working for her nephew. Who do you want?” Amit Shah said.
“Jhargram is a land of lush green forests and red soil. The tribal brothers have preserved the culture of this land for years. Didi came to power by giving the slogan of Maa Mati Manush, but did nothing for you. You won’t get rid of malaria until Didi leaves. She’s friends with dengue & malaria. Vote for us, we’ll eradicate diseases in 2 yrs … On one hand, PM Modi is working for tribal welfare, while Didi is working for her nephew. Who do you want?” he added.
“I know the difficulties of your region, but there are some difficulties which are of the whole of West Bengal. Didi scares people and innocent tribals wherever she roams – Khela Hobe, Khela Hobe. Oh sister, what scares you, will we be afraid of Khela Hobe. Didi you do not know, the little Bengal boy also plays football, no one is afraid of your ‘Khela Hobe’.”
In Jhargram, Amit Shah said, “You pick the forest produce from the forest, it does not get a good price. We have decided that we will start giving good prices by giving support price to 49 forest produce. If the tribals in West Bengal want a certificate, then the patwari has to pay the cut money, we have decided that by arranging the online certificate for the tribals, they will eliminate the cut money.”
