New Delhi: German automobile company Volkswagen’s SUV Taigun is getting better response from the market. The SUV has received over 18,000 bookings since its launch on September 23, 2021.The company has claimed that the Taigun is getting around 250 bookings per day on an average since its launch. If experts are to be believed, in view of this performance of the car, the company may temporarily stop the booking of Tigon, so that there is no problem in supplying this car on time according to the demand.

Let us tell you that Volkswagen launched the Tigon in India on Thursday itself. Volkswagen had been preparing to launch this car for a long time, and the company has high hopes from it.

Colour Options

The company has introduced this car in Curcuma Yellow, Wild Cherry Red, Candy White, Reflex Silver and Carbon Steel Gray color options.

Features

Features such as wireless smartphone charger, rear AC vents, front and rear smartphone charging ports, central armrest, climate control, electric sunroof, red ambient lighting and smart touch climatronic auto AC are available in this car.

Appearance

 The front of this car gets Volkswagen’s slotted grille, where you get LED DRL units along with sleek headlights. Apart from this, a great job of chrome has been done in the front of this car. Also, fog lamp casing is also available on the grill itself. At the same time, talking about the rear look of this car, here you get LED taillights equal to the width of the car. You get 17-inch dual tone alloy wheels in the top spec variant of the car. Also, there is a chrome garnish on the doll handles. Here you get working roof rails and blacked out B-pillar.

Dimensions

The wheelbase of the Taigun SUV is similar to that of the 2,651 mm Kushak, though the ground clearance of this car is higher than that of the Kushak. The Kushak has a ground clearance of 188 mm, which is about 17 mm less than its rival from Volkswagen.

Engine Options

Talking about the engine options of the Taigun, it is offered in two options like the Skoda Kushak. Its first engine is the 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine, which is capable of producing 113 Bhp of power and 175 Nm of maximum torque. This engine is mated to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The price of this car starts from Rs 10,49,900 and goes up to Rs 17,49,900.
