Vivo Y72 5G to launch in India soon: Everything to know about the Vivo device

New Delhi (Anish Yande): Vivo would be launching a new device in the Vivo Y-series. The Y72 5G is the successor to the Vivo Y71 that was launched in April 2018. Vivo Y72 5G comes with a 64-megapixel quad-camera setup, MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor and a 5,000mAh battery.  Check expected prices, specs and features of the Vivo Y72 5G here.

Expected prices of Vivo Y72 5G:

The Vivo device is priced at 9,999 Baht in Thailand, which is priced at around Rs 23,400 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option. Vivo Y72 5G comes in colour options of Graphite Black and Dream Glow. 

Specs and features of Vivo Y72 5G:

Vivo Y72 5G features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ LCD IPS display with a resolution of 1080×2408 pixels. The Y72 5G features a pixel density of 401 ppi with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of Y72 5G is 90.61 per cent. 

The Y72 5G is equipped with a quad-rear camera setup with a primary sensor of 64 megapixels with an aperture of f/1.8. The Vivo device includes a secondary sensor of 8-megapixels with an ultra-wide-angle lens of f/2.2. Vivo Y72 5G features a 2-megapixels macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. 

The selfie snapper of Vivo Y72 5G is a 16-megapixels wide-angle camera with an aperture of f/2.0. The camera offers features such as EIS, eye autofocus, and a super night mode.

Vivo Y72 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The Vivo device packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W Dual Engine fast charging. The Y72 5G runs on FunTouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11, out-of-the-box.

Connectivity features of the Vivo Y72 5G include 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Wi-Fi, and USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the side of the Vivo device and comes with support for face unlock.
