Video: PM Modi slams Mamata Banerjee at BJP rally

Kolkata: The second phase of voting for the West Bengal Election 2021 is taking place today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended a BJP rally in Uluberia in the Howrah district of West Bengal today.

PM Modi asserted that Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee will have to step down as chief minister as the BJP will win West Bengal Election 2021.

“People of West Bengal have decided that Didi must go. The people of Nandigram have fulfilled this dream today. People can’t wait any longer to save their future and identity. They are not just participating in polling, they are paving the way for a renaissance in West Bengal,” PM Modi said.

“Didi, is there any truth in the rumours that you are going to file nomination from another constituency? First you went there (Nandigram) and people gave you an answer. If you go somewhere else, the people of Bengal are ready,” he added.

“You want to abuse me, keep on abusing me. But I will not let you misuse the devotion of the people and the identity of Rama Krishna Paramahamsa, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Swami Vivekananda. A few days ago I visited Bangladesh, where I worshiped at the Jashoreswari temple. Didi objected to this. During my visit to the holy land of Harichand Thakur and Guruchand Thakur in Orkandi, I sought blessings for the country. Didi got very angry. Is it wrong to go to a temple? ”

Attacking Mamta Banerjee, PM Kodi said, “to appease the intruders, Didi forgot the people of West Bengal.”
