Kolkata: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a public meeting at Sonarpur in the South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal on Saturday.

Claiming that the BJP will win the West Bengal Election 2021, PM Modi said that Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee is now saying that she will now contest the Lok Sabha elections from Varanasi.

“This makes two things clear, first, that Didi has accepted her defeat in West Bengal. Second, Didi is now looking to find a place for herself outside West Bengal,” PM Modi said.

“Didi is engaged in giving wrong advice to her party. Didi has said that crowds gather for money at BJP rallies. These are self-respecting people, even the entire British Empire could not do anything to the people of Bengal. Didi, by saying this you have insulted not the BJP or Modi but the people of Bengal,” he added.

“When the British tried to divide our unity, Netaji Subhash Babu said – India is one and the hopes and aspirations of every Indian are the same. But the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Mamata Didi talk of ‘Bohiragoto’ instead of following Netaji’s philosophy.”
