Thrippunithura (Kerala): Ahead of the Kerala Election 2021, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a BJP roadshow at Thrippunithura in Kerala on Wednesday.
Speaking to the media here, he said, “the people of Kerala are upset with LDF and UDF, people here are looking at BJP as an option and I can definitely say that we have a very chance this time. The BJP will perform well in Kerala elections.”
Speaking to ANI, Amit Shah claimed that the BJP would do well in the assembly elections.
“People of Kerala are fed up with LDF and UDF. People here are looking at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as an alternative. I am sure we will do well in the upcoming Kerala assembly elections,” he said.
The BJP is contesting 115 seats in the state and has left the remaining 25 seats for allies. However, three of the coalition candidates rejected their nomination earlier this week.
The election for the 140-member Kerala Legislative Assembly in 14 districts will be held in a single phase on April 6. The counting of votes will take place on May 2.
