Varanasi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda is on a two-day tour of Uttar Pradesh. On Monday morning, the BJP leader visited the Kal Bhairav Temple in Varanasi and performed puja.
Assembly elections are going to be held in Uttar Pradesh in 2022. The BJP came to power in Uttar Pradesh by winning the assembly elections here in 2017.
In the Uttar Pradesh assembly of 403 seats, the BJP alone has 309 MLAs. The rest are 49 MLAs from the Samajwadi Party (SP), 18 from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and seven from the Congress.
