Bulandshahr: Polling for the Uttar Pradesh elections has begun with full force and people from all across the state are making sure to cast their votes. But some people are more determined than others to cast their votes no matter what obligations they have.
Now a patient admitted to the ICU ward reached the polling booth in a tractor-trolley to exercise his right to vote in Bulandshahr. The video of a patient is going crazy viral on social media. It can be seen in the video that the tractor has a modified trolley in which the patient is lying on the bed. There is a separate medical unit placed in the trolley for the patient. When asked about the disease the young man said he had a stomach operation earlier and he is currently hospitalized for three months. Despite this, the young man reached the polling booth to exercise his voting rights.
As many as 623 candidates are in the fray on 58 Assembly seats where polls are being held today. As per the norms, the campaigning for the first phase of the UP polls ended on Tuesday (February 8) at 6 pm, marking the start of a 48-hour-long silence period. The police have sealed the borders of the state and strict vigilance is underway to maintain peace in 58 constituencies where elections are underway.
