Dubai: There has been a shocking revelation about the princess of Dubai, which has caused a massive controversy.

Reportedly, Princess Haya had an illicit relationship with her married British bodyguard for two years and paid him at least $6.4 million (Rs 47.46 crores) to not tell anyone about it.

According to the Daily Mail, Princess Haya’s fraud was revealed in a London High Court case following an ongoing child custody case, stating that she was having an illicit relationship with one of her male bodyguards.

The court ruling did not initially identify the bodyguard, but the Daily Mail reports that the 46-year-old princess allegedly gave luxury gifts to 37-year-old Russell Flowers, including a $16,000 watch and a $66,000 vintage machine gun.

Sources said he was paid $1.6 million by the princess’ then husband, UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Al Maktoum to keep it a secret.

Haya (the daughter of the late King of Jordan) had also given money to buy the silence of the three bodyguards of the Dubai royal family who were aware of her illicit affair that began in 2016.

The report stated that the fraud was soon exposed, but the bodyguard’s four-year marriage was destroyed and in 2018 the princess was forced to elope with her two children.

Sheikh sought custody of the couple’s 11-year-old daughter and 7-year-old son from the court, while a UK court ruled that he intimidated and threatened Haya. The report said that this included giving her a divorce without telling her, leaving a gun in his bedroom and trying to kidnap her by helicopter.

The princess married Sheikh Mohammed in 2004, his sixth and junior most wife. They were divorced last year. She now lives with her two children in a $ 113 million home in Kensington, London’s most upscale area.
