Kohima: The BJP unit of Nagaland has decided to launch a new campaign for frontline workers in the state. Under this, one time meal will be provided by the party to the frontline workers in Kohima.
This arrangement will be done by Nagaland’s BJP ST Morcha. According to the plan, this facility will be available for frontline workers first in Kohima and later the plan will be expanded to other parts of the state. Nagaland BJP president Wanphong Konyak stated that a one-time meal facility for frontline workers in Kohima will be started from May 15, which will continue till the end of the lockdown.
He said that the Nagaland government has announced a lockdown from May 14 to 21 amid cases of increasing coronavirus infection in the state. This program will be started with the traffic police of Kohima. Under this, the scavengers and health workers will be included.
Konyak emphasized that due to the increase in Kovid cases, the duty of frontline workers has increased and in this challenging time they are playing it with full courage and dedication.
The BJP unit of Nagaland has asked its workers to provide all possible help so that the people of the state can get help.
Meanwhile, the BJP ST Morcha has started distributing food among the frontline workers. At the same time, the activity of blood donation and plasma giving is started by the youth wing. Also, the woman is distributing wing face masks.
