Tesla hit a milestone in October when the worldwide sales of the electric carmaker crossed the 1 million mark. Elon Musk is planning to reach a sales aim of 20 million Tesla vehicles sold worldwide by 2030.

Tesla Model 3 to debut in India:

Elon Musk had previously stated that the first Tesla vehicle to debut in India would be the Model 3 Sedan. Tesla had previously attempted to launch the vehicle in India in 2016, however, local infrastructure had delayed the launch.

Reports have stated that Tesla has finalized plans for pre-bookings and delivery starting from the first quarter of the next year.

Tesla Model 3 is one of the most affordable electric cars by Tesla. Launched first in 2017, the car became one of the most sought after electric car across the world, with recorded sales of 5,00,000 units. The car delivers a top speed of 162 mph and range upwards of 420 km.
