Teacher Recruitment 2021: Ministry of Tribal Affairs announces vacancies, apply for 3479 posts of PGT, TGT

New Delhi: The Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, through its autonomous body National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), is going to recruit a total of 3479 teaching posts in Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) located in different districts of 17 states across the country.

According to the update released by the Ministry on Thursday, 25 March 2021, a total of 3479 posts of Eklavya Model Residential Schools Post Graduate Teacher (PGT 1244 posts), Trend Graduate Teacher (TGT 1944 posts), Principal (175 posts), and Vice-Principal (116 posts) to be recruited.

The process of application for declared vacancies in various states is to be started from April 1, 2021, and interested candidates will be able to apply by April 30. The application process will be completely online and candidates will be able to visit the application page from the link provided on the official website of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs i.e. nic.in. The recruitment notification and application form will be made available on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA), nta.ac.in. Candidates will be able to apply by visiting the portal of NTA directly.

The candidate’s selection for TGT, PGT, and the other posts in the Eklavya Model Residential Schools will be done on the basis of Computer Based Test (CBT) and Interview. The CBT is proposed to be organized in the first week of June 2021. Candidates who declared successful in CBT will be invited for the interview.
