New Delhi: Tamil actor Maran passed away on Wednesday due to Covid-19 complications at the age of 48. He was undergoing treatment at the Changalpattu Government Hospital in Chennai, where he has died. The death of Maran has shocked the Tamil film industry. Many artists are in shock.
Neelam Productions gave out the news of his demise and wrote, “A gem of a person who gave his 100% in everything he did! Heartfelt condolences to #maran Anna’s family and friends. #RIP” Arya, who worked with Maran in Sarpatta Parambarai, tweeted, “Heartfelt condolences to #Maran Anna’s family and friends. Can’t believe this. Will miss you anna #RIP.”
Maran was known for his work in films like Dishoom, Thalai Nagaram, and Boss Engira Baskaran. He is also playing an important role in P. Ranjith’s upcoming Tamil period drama film Sarpatta Parambarai. Apart from Maran, many Tollywood and Bollywood actors have also been hit by the coronavirus. Due to this, there is havoc and fear in people. And they have also donated their plasma to save the lives of other people from the deadly virus.
