T20 World Cup: 100 Days To Go, How Prepared Is Team India?

New Delhi: The countdown for the T20 World Cup 2022 has started as only 100 days are left for the mega-tournament. In the last edition, Team India exited from the tournament after failing to qualify even for the top 8 after facing massive defeats from their opponents.

From coach to captain, Team India has undergone huge changes ever since. Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma and guiding light of Rahul Dravid, Men in Blue would look forward to make up for the last season, keeping their eyes on the silverware.

India has been undefeated in the bilateral shortest format series after the world cup and have defeated New Zealand, West Indies, Sri Lanka in past months. Currently, the team in playing three-match series against England and have taken 1-0 lead already.

Reigning champions Australian is the host for the World Cup and the challenge Indians side would be from the hosts as there hasn’t been any face-off between the two.

Other than that, India is re-discovering the talent of old players while their giant player like Virat Kohli is struggling with the form. This is scary for the side who relied on the superstar batter heavily till last year.

In the recent times, Hardik Pandya has been a useful asset for the side and a lot of hoped would also be on opening batter KL Rahul who is currently out of squad due to groin injury.

Captain Sharma just achieved the milestone of winning 13 consecutive T20Is and became the first shortest format captain to do so.
