T20 skipper Rishabh Pant set to transform Team India’s approach with his aggressive style

New Delhi: Cricket is one of the most famous games worldwide, especially in India. No other game has popularity similar to cricket in India. From kids to adults and even old age, people are watching and playing cricket. Billions of rupees are bet for gambling in India, and people earn gigantic profits as well. Platforms like Bet station manage to handle ethical gambling.

Recently, a big milestone was achieved by a young Indian wicketkeeper-batter, Rishabh Pant. He took the field during the T20I fixture against South Africa on June 9. The match was played out at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

The matter is that KL Rahul, the captain of the Indian Cricket Team for the T20 series, suffered from a groin injury, due to which he was ruled out of the 5-match series. As there is a requirement for a captain, Rishabh Pant gets a chance to become the Indian cricket team vice-captain for the squad of 18 players.

This will make him the second-youngest youngest player on the Indian cricket team to become the Captain for the T20 series. This will make a dramatic uplift in the gambling industry. And platforms like Bet Station received a crowd of betters in the meantime. Let’s know more about Rishabh Pant.

Milestone According to Rishabh Pant?

Rishabh Pant said that it was the proudest moment in his life. When he walked to the ground for a toss, he achieved the title of second youngest Indian player to hold the post of a captain in T20 internationals and lead the squad of 18 players in the shortest format.

The title of youngest player to lead the Indian team at the international level is occupied by Suresh Raina, who achieved it at the age of 23 years and 197 days during the tour of Zimbabwe in 2010. Pant holds the title at the age of 24 years and 248 days. The fans are happy to see Pant on such a great milestone.

Some other famous Indian cricketers or ex-captain also achieved the title of Indian cricket team captain, like MS Dhoni at the age of 26, Virat Kholi at the age of 28 years and Virender Sehwag was 28 when the Indian cricket team faced South Africa for the first time in T20 games in 2006.

About Rishabh Pant

During the Under 19 World Cup organized in Bangladesh, Pant was a skipper of the Indian Under 19 cricket team. He also used to participate in the Indian Premier League (IPL) from the state of Delhi for 2 years. “Bet station” and other famous platforms organize ethical betting for the IPL annually.

Rishabh Pant plays as a middle-order wicket-keeper batsman for the Indian Cricket team. One of the biggest things that makes him different and unique from other cricket is his left-handed play. He belongs to Uttarakhand and comes along with his mother to Delhi to join the Cricket academy. Due to no accommodation facility in Delhi, his mother used to live in Gurudwara.

He used to captain the Delhi capital team in IPL for about 30 matches and successfully won 17 matches. However, the captainship of Rishabh Pant doesn’t go well as the Indian cricket team is defeated by South Africa in the T20 match. The major role behind the Indian team’s defeat is performed by South African batsmen Dussen and Miller. After this defeat, the winning streak of the Indian team vanished.

Conclusion

There are a few people who used to achieve such a great opportunity at a young age. Pant also said in his press conference on Wednesday that he “felt proud to achieve this title in my hometown, Delhi, and will try to make the best out of it.

Some people consider his captaincy foul because of his defeat in the match against South Africa.

South African Batsmen Dussen and Miller jointly achieved two half-centuries and brought in the target of 131 runs in front of the Indian team. However, this moment is no less than a miracle for the fans of Rishabh Pant and him himself.
