Sushant Singh Rajput death case: CBI questions Rhea Chakraborty’s parents Indrajit and Sandhya

New Delhi: After interrogating Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty for four continuous days, her parents Indrajit and Sandhya Chakraborty have been summoned by the CBI in Sushant’s death case. Rhea’s parents reached DRDO guesthouse at 10:50 am in the morning.

Meanwhile, Rhea, her brother Showik Chakraborty, SSR’s business manager Shruti Modi were questioned by CBI on Monday. On Monday, Rhea was grilled for nine long hours and she was interrogated on several issues relating to SSR’s health condition, why she left Sushant’s house on June 8, about his medical treatment and many other questions. 

According to sources, CBI also asked Rhea about her expenses from Sushant’s credit card. Special Investigation Team of CBI has been interrogating Rhea, Sushant’s staff including Neeraj Singh, Keshav, Dipesh Sawant and actor’s flatmate  Siddharth Pithani from last few days.

Sushant Singh Rajput was allegedly found hanging at his Bandra residence in Mumbai on June 14. Earlier, Mumbai police was investigating Sushant’s death case but recently following the Supreme Court’s order, CBI took over his death case. The other two agencies interrogating the money laundering and drug angle in Sushant’s death case are Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).
