New Delhi: The country is celebrating the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose today. On this occasion, all the people of India are remembering Netaji’s sacrifice and paying homage to him.
On this occasion, President Ramnath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have also paid tributes to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
India gratefully pays homage to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his 125th birth anniversary. The daring steps that he took to fulfil his fierce commitment to the idea of a free India — Azad Hind — make him a national icon. His ideals and sacrifice will forever inspire every Indian,” President Kovind posted on Twitter.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also took to Twitter to pay tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
“Many happy returns of the day to all the countrymen. My respectful tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 125th birth anniversary. I bow to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his Jayanti. Every Indian is proud of his monumental contribution to our nation,” PM Modi posted on Twitter.
Home Minister Amit Shah has also tweeted a tribute to Netaji.
The Home Minister tweeted, “On the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the great hero of independence, I salute him. He shook the foundation of foreign rule by organizing the youth with his extraordinary patriotism, indomitable courage and glorious voice.”
“His unique sacrifice, tenacity and struggle for the motherland will always guide the country.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil the statue of freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at India Gate today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself had announced the inauguration of this statue on Friday.
PM Modi had said that by installing a statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at India Gate, it would be installed as a symbol of his debt to the country. The country can never forget the sacrifice made by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose for the country’s independence.
