New Delhi: Indian cricketer Shivam Dube on Friday tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Anjum Khan in an intimate ceremony. In the picture shared by the cricketer himself on his official Twitter handle, he can be seen docked in wedding outfit along with his pretty bride. In one of the pictures, the couple can be seen grinning from ear to ear as they pose for the shutterbugs post exchanging garlands, while the other picture shows the two exchanging rings. In the third picture, the couple can be seen performing Muslim wedding rituals as they fold their hands for dua.
“We loved with a love which was more than love … And now this is where our forever starts,” he wrote on Twitter, adding, “Just Married … 16-07-2021.”
Dube, who plays for Rajasthan Royals in Indian Premier League, was last seen sporting the blue jersey against New Zealand in February 2020. He has played an ODI and three T20Is for the country. His franchise Rajasthan Royals also posted the best wishes for him as they shared a picture of the newly weds along with the caption, “Badhai Ho”. Dube was bought by Rajasthan outfit for a whopping sum of Rs 4.40 crores during the IPL mini-auction earlier this year, making him one of the most valuable Indian players of the season. He scored 145 runs in the first half of the league with Rajasthan Royals positioned at number 5 in the points table.
