Samsung launches high-resolution monitors: Everything to know about the monitors

New Delhi (Anish Yande): Samsung has launched a lineup of high-resolution monitors this week. The South Korean tech giant has announced the Samsung S8, S7, and S6 series for 2021. The Samsung series of monitors would come with sizes ranging from 24-inch up to 32-inches.

Prices of Samsung S6, S7, S8 series:

Samsung S6, S7, S8 series would start with a price of KRW 450,000, which is around Rs 28,500. The price for the series at the upper price range is KRW 670,000, which is around Rs 42,900. 

Specs and Features of Samsung S6, S7, S8 series:

Samsung S7 series constitutes of the S27A700NEW 27-inch monitor and the S32A700 32-inch monitor. These monitors offer 4K displays with HDR10 support and a screen resolution of 3,840×2,160 pixels. The display of the Samsung S7 series comes with a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 5ms response time, and a peak brightness of 300 nits. Both devices come with 178-degree viewing angles.

The S27A700NEW model includes an IPS panel with a 1,000:1 typical contrast ratio. The S32A700 model comes with a VA panel with a 2,500:1 typical contrast ratio. 

Samsung S6 series constitutes the 34-inch curved ultra-wide monitor with a WQHD resolution of 3,440×1,440 pixels. The S34A650UNEW model comes with an aspect ratio of 21:9, 1000R curvature, and a typical contrast ratio of 4,000:1. The display of the Samsung monitor comes with HDR 10 support,  5ms response time, and a peak brightness of 300 nits. 

Samsung S8 series constitutes the S80UA series which comes with a single 27-inch monitor. S80A series includes S27A800 with a 27-inch display and S32A800 with a 32-inch display and UHD resolution of 3,840×2,160 pixels. The Samsung S8 series comes with 99 percent coverage of sRGB color space.

The monitors of the Samsung S8 series come with IPS panels with support of HDR10 and an aspect ratio of 16:9. The display comes with a peak brightness of 300 nits, 1,000:1 typical contrast ratio, and 5ms response time
