Samsung Galaxy M21 receives Android 11 update: Check all improvments here

New Delhi (Anish Yande): Samsung Galaxy M21 has started receiving system updates for Android 11 OS. Users in India have started getting the updates to Android 11 OS. 

The Galaxy M21 was launched with One UI 2.0 based on Android 10, out-of-the-box. Samsung Galaxy M21 received updates to One UI 2.5 based on Android 10. The March 2021 Android update comes with build number M215FXXU2BUC8. 

Users can check for the update from the Software updates section in Settings. 

The update brings improvements to the performance and security of the device. The UI has been improved with the addition of tools such as Eye Comfort Shield. Users can also remove GPS location data from their images through the update.

Specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy M21:

Samsung Galaxy M21 features a 6.4 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The Galaxy M21 features a high refresh rate of 90Hz and a pixel density of 403 ppi and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The Galaxy M21 has a screen-to-body ratio of 84.2 percent and a peak brightness of 420 nits. 

The Galaxy M21 comes with dimensions of 159 x 75.1 x 8.9 mm and a weight of 188 grams. 

Samsung Galaxy M21 features a triple-rear camera setup with a primary sensor of 48-megapixels with an aperture of f/2.0. The Galaxy M21 comes with an ultra-wide-angle lens of 8 megapixels with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 5-megapixels depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2.

The selfie shooter of the Galaxy M21 is a 20-megapixels wide-angle camera with an aperture of f/2.2.

Samsung Galaxy M21 is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9611 processor paired with a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The Galaxy M21 packs a 6,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.  Samsung Galaxy M21 runs on OneUI 3.1 based on Android 11 out of the box.

Connectivity options of the Samsung device include 4G LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
