Sachin Tendulkar hospitalised days after testing positive for Covid-19

New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has been hospitalised after tested positive for Covid-19 on March 27. Tendulkar confirmed the news on his official Twitter account.

Thank you for your wishes and prayers. As a matter of abundant precaution under medical advice, I have been hospitalized. I hope to be back home in a few days. Take care and stay safe everyone.

Earlier, the former Team India captain made the announcement with a statement on his Twitter account.

“I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bay.

However, I’ve tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative,” Sachin Tendulkar posted on Twitter. Sachin Tendulkar confirmed that he has developed mild COVID-19 symptoms. He has decided to quarantine himself at his Mumbai home according to the advice of his doctors. 

“I’ve quarantined myself at home and am following all necessary protocols as advised by my doctors,” Sachin Tendulkar added.
