Rohit Shetty receives coronavirus vaccine shot, says ‘don’t try to be a khatron ke khiladi in real life’

New Delhi: Rohit Shetty has joined a string of Bollywood celebs who have received the vaccine shot against covid-19. The filmmaker took to social media to share the news of his fans along with a quirky message. The filmmaker who often grabs highlight for his action-packed films and also hosts stunt reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi urged people to receive the vaccine shot. 

“Action and Stunts are for movies don’t try to be a khatron ke khiladi in real life, get vaccinated. It is the only way to fight COVID. Got myself vaccinated today,” along with a picture from the hospital.

He also thanked the staff of the hospital for their cooperation. “Thanks to the staff of Nanavati hospital, the procedure was very well organised,” he added.   

India started its covid-19 vaccination programme on January 16 with two approved vaccines. In the first phase, healthcare and frontline workers received the vaccine dose, while in the second phase, people above 60 and those above 45 with comorbidities received the vaccine shot. From today, India has expanded the vaccine drive. As per the latest development, anyone above the age of 45 irrespective of co morbidities can get the vaccine dose administered.  

Among others in Bollywood who have received the vaccine shot include Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt.
