Restrictions imposed on wedding ceremonies, only 100 people to be included in these cities

New Delhi: Coronavirus is yet again wreaking havoc in various parts of the country. In the wake of its growing fear, after Delhi, now the Noida administration has taken a big decision and limited the number of guests attending a wedding ceremony.

Not more than 100 people will be permitted to gather for a wedding in Noida. Previously 200 people could gather in various other celebrations including weddings.

The district official of Gautam Buddha Nagar said in a statement issued on Saturday that in view of the increasing infection by the coronavirus, now a maximum of 100 people will be able to attend any function. District Magistrate Suhas LY has directed the officials concerned to ensure compliance of this directive of the government.

He has called upon the people to cooperate. The District Magistrate has told all the people of the district that not more than 100 people will participate in all kinds of celebrations. The government has taken this decision in view of the increasing cases of covid-19. More than 100 people will not be allowed to participate in programs like marriage. He said that action will be ensured on violation of this order.

Instructing all the concerned officials on behalf of the District Magistrate, it has been said that the administrative and other concerned officers will monitor such programs. Officers will ensure that no more than 100 persons can participate in all kinds of celebrations held in their respective areas.
