Jaipur (Rajasthan), Dec 25 (ANI): A meeting was organised under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to review the status of COVID situation in Rajasthan. During the meeting, Chief Minister showed concerns over rising cases of COVID-19 due to the new Omicron variant of coronavirus in many countries of the world. The CM said that because of the cases coming up in many states of the country, strictness has been started again. In such a situation, the people of the state should follow the COVID protocol and night curfew effectively. Otherwise, the state government will take strict steps. CM Gehlot said that by writing a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the State Government would request that the eligible persons should be given booster dose and vaccination should be started for children also.
