Rajasthan: BJP leader shot dead in Bharatpur

Bharatpur (Rajasthan): BJP leader Kripal Singh Jaghina has been shot dead in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Four people have been taken into custody. The victim was very close to the BJP MP from Bharatpur, Ranjeeta Koli. He was also a member of the Railway Advisory Committee.

The number of miscreants is about a dozen

It is known that at around eleven o’clock on Sunday night, Kripal Singh was going home by car when the miscreants in bike and jeep stopped the vehicle and started firing near Jaghina Gate. The number of miscreants was about a dozen. The miscreants opened fire on Kripal Singh, in which seven bullets hit him. He died on the spot.

People reached in large numbers after the news spread

Police believe that the miscreants had fired more than a dozen bullets. On receiving the information, MP, BJP District President Shailesh Singh and Superintendent of Police Shyam Singh reached the spot. Kripal Singh was rushed to RBM Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Medical workers also assaulted

On receiving information about the attack and death on Kripal Singh, a large number of people reached Jaghina Gate. People started rioting. The people who reached the hospital also beat up the medical workers.

Kripal Singh was a history-sheeter

However, the police and administration officials understood and pacified the people. Kirpal Singh himself was a history-sheeter. BJP leader Kripal Singh was also a member of Railway Advisory Committee. His daughter has been the President of Bharatpur College Students Union from Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad.

Incident of enmity

Police believe that this incident happened due to old enmity. Those who had an enmity with Kripal Singh are being questioned. Four people have been taken into custody. Kripal Singh, who was his accomplice before the incident, is also being questioned.
