R Madhavan gets caught up with the Coronavirus after Aamir Khan, says ‘All Is Well’

New Delhi: Bollywood actor R Madhavan has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The actor shared the news with his fans on Twitter with a hilarious post involving their ‘3 Idiots’ characters. Aamir Khan too recently tested positive for the virus.

Taking to his Twitter handle, R Madhavan shared a poster of their film, ‘3 Idiots’ and wrote, ‘Farhan HAS to follow Rancho and Virus has always been after us BUT this time he bloody caught up. BUT-ALL IS WELL and the Covid will be in the Well soon. Though this is one place we don’t want Raju in. Thank you for all the love I am recuperating well.’ 

Madhavan played Farhan in 3 Idiots, while Aamir played the role of Rancho. The actor also mentioned Sharman Joshi and said that he wouldn’t want Raju (the character played by Joshi in 3 Idiots) to contract the virus. In the film, they called Viru Sahastrabuddhe (Boman Irani), their college’s director ‘Virus’.

On Wednesday, superstar Aamir Khan has tested positive for coronavirus. A statement by the actor’s spokesperson read: “Mr. Aamir Khan has tested positive for Covid 19. He is at home in self quarantine, following all the protocols and he’s doing fine. All those who came in contact with him in the recent past should get themselves tested as a precautionary measure. Thank you for all your wishes and concern.”

On the work front, Madhavan’s last film was Maara. He will be next seen in Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, which is based on the life of S Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and ISRO official who was arrested after being falsely accused of espionage.
