Nupur Sharma Row: Former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma has got a big relief from the Supreme Court. The top court has stayed the next hearing of the case on his arrest till August 10. The court has directed not to take any action against them till August 10. Apart from this, the court has ordered all the states where cases are registered against Nupur and other parties in the petition to present their side on Nupur’s petition till the next hearing.
Let us inform that Nupur Sharma has approached the Supreme Court for the second time. He has filed a petition seeking a stay on his arrest in the FIR registered against him for his alleged hate statements against Prophet Mohammad.
Demand for simultaneous hearing
In this petition, Nupur Sharma has also demanded a direction to club all the FIRs registered against her across the country. Let us inform that a total of nine FIRs have been registered against Nupur in different states of the country, in which they have demanded a stay on the arrest.
This is Nupur Sharma’s petition
The petition has said that the threat to his life has increased after the unexpected and harsh criticism from the bench in the Supreme Court. They are also being threatened with death and even rape. Since the first FIR was registered against him in Delhi. Therefore the FIRs registered at other places should be clubbed with the Delhi case. Since the allegations are the same in every FIR, all club FIRs should be heard in the same court. Let us tell you that earlier the Supreme Court had made strict comments during the hearing of a similar petition. At that time the Supreme Court had refused to grant relief to Nupur Sharma. The court had asked him to try other options.
