NEW DELHI (DIVYA SAINI): Breast Cancer is the disease of which many women’s across the country are suffering. Different people have different symptoms of breast cancer. Some people don’t even have any signs or symptoms at all.
Causes of Breast Cancer
According to Doctors, the breast cancer occurs when breast cells grow abnormally. These cells spread more rapidly than the healthy cells which, further causes a lump or mass in the breast area. The abnormal cells may spread by your breast to your lymph nodes or to other parts of your body.
Breast cancer most begins with the cells in the milk-producing ducts and can also grow in the glandular tissue called lobules or maybe in some other cells or tissue within the breast.
According to a study, the risk of breast cancer may increase due to hormonal, lifestyle and environmental factors.
Some early warning signs of breast cancer are:
1 New lump in the breast or underarm area.
2 Thickening or swelling of breast.
3 Feeling of Irritation or dimpling on breast skin.
4 Redness or flaky skin of the breast.
5 Pain in the breast area.
6 Blood discharge from the breast.
7 Any sudden change in the size or the shape of the breast.
8 Pain in any area of the breast.
Some Risk Factors are:
Genes breast cancer: If your mother, sister ever was diagnosed with breast cancer, there are chances you may also have the same.
Obesity: Not having healthy weight increases your risk of breast cancer.
Periods at a younger age: Beginning your period before age 12 increases the risk of breast cancer.
Menopause at an older age: If you began menopause at an older age, you may have chances of breast cancer.
Alcohol: Drinking alcohol also increases the risk of breast cancer.
