‘Present system of country swallowed Stan Swamy’: Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren

The Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren on July 6 expressed shock on demise of human rights activist Stan Swamy and said that it was unfortunate. “Father Stan Swami has passed away. The present system of our country swallowed him up today. It has cost the voice of the tribals for the fight for human rights. At the age of 84, he was left to die in a jail in Mumbai. It is unfortunate and today a time has come for us where we have to face the consequences for raising our voice as a punishment,” said CM Soren. Bhima Koregaon violence accused, tribal rights activist Stan Swami died at 84 in Mumbai.
