New Delhi (Anish Yande): Poco, in a recent Twitter post, has hinted at the launch of the Poco F2. The follow-up to Poco F1 could be the next entrant into the competitive mid-range segment.
The Poco India Twitter handle shared a video that charted the smartphone maker’s journey in 2020. The video mentioned that Poco sold more than 1,000,000 Poco phones in 2020. In the video, the Poco F2 was briefly mentioned.
A tipster has hinted at the key specifications of Poco F2. According to the leaks, the phone would have a model number K9A. The device would be codenamed Courbet, according to the tipsters.
Expected Specs of Poco F2:
The leaks of the Poco F2 have originated from a Xiaomi Telegram group. These leaks have indicated that the follow-up to the Poco F1 would be priced higher than its predecessor in the mid-range segment.
Poco F2 is set to come with an AMOLED display with a refresh rate up to 120 Hz. The phone is expected to have a 2400×1080 Full HD+ resolution with a screen-to-body ratio upwards of 90%.
The Poco F2 is expected to be powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset. The phone could pack a 4,250 mAh battery with support for reverse charging.
The phone is likely to come with a quad rear camera setup. The Poco F2 is expected to come with a 64 megapixels primary sensor and a secondary sensor of 13 megapixels. The phone is likely to come with a macro lens and a depth sensor within the Poco F2’s rear camera setup.
Poco F2 is expected to be released in two variants of 8GB RAM and 12 GB RAM. The storage variants of Poco F2 are expected to be 128 GB and 256 GB.
The Poco F2 could have connectivity features for 5G networks. Features also include 4G connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a Type-C port.
