PM Modi to attend 4 BJP rallies in Tamil Nadu, Kerala today

Chennai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address 4 election rallies in Tamil Nadu and Kerala today. 

PM Modi will campaign for the upcoming state elections for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its alliance partner AIADMK in Tamil Nadu. 

He will address rallies in Madurai and Kanyakumari.

PM Modi will also go for campaigning and will hold public meetings in Pathanamthitta and Thiruvananthapuram at 1.45 pm and 6.16 pm respectively. According to the news agency ANI, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappady K Palaniswamy, Deputy CM O Panneerselvam and National Democratic Alliance (NDA) leaders will be present at PM Modi’s rallies at Amma Thield Ground in Madurai at 11.30 am.

On reaching Tamil Nadu on Thursday, PM Modi visited the Arulmigu Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple in Madurai. On March 30, PM Modi addressed an election rally in Tirupur district, where he accused the Congress of dynastic agenda. 

PM Modi said that the BJP’s developmental agenda was inspired by the ideals of former Tamil Nadu Chief Ministers MG Ramachandran and J Jayalalithaa.

Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu and Kerala are scheduled to be held in the same phase on April 6 and the results will be announced on May 2.
