PM Modi Birthday: Wishes pour in from across political spectrum as Prime Minister turns 70

Raman Jha, New Delhi: Today is the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

PM Modi turned 70 on Thursday. The BJP has announced to celebrate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday as Seva Divas. In this regard, the party has given 70 jobs to the BJP workers. At the same time, party president JP Nadda will meet in a virtual rally with party workers in every district today.

On this occasion, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is organizing several programs across the country. Party worker service week is being celebrated in various states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra. There has been a wave of greetings on social media since the morning on PM Modi’s birthday. People are wishing him a long life.

President Ramnath Kovind has wished PM Modi a happy birthday. 

“Happy birthday to Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and best wishes. You have presented an ideal of loyalty in India’s life-values and democratic tradition. My best wishes and prayers are that God always keep you healthy and happy and the nation continues to receive your invaluable services,” he wrote in his tweet. 

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi a happy birthday.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah tweeted and wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has wished birthday to PM Modi. He said that PM Modi has been steadily working towards empowering the poor and marginalized people.

Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi a very happy birthday.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday.

BJP President JP Nadda has wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi a happy birthday.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi congratulated Modi on his 70th birthday. Rahul Gandhi tweeted PM Modi and wished him a happy birthday.

Former Union Minister Rajiv Shukla also wished good health and happy life while congratulating Prime Minister Modi on his birthday.

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) also wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi on its official Twitter handle. 

“Heartiest congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the birthday. Your guidance and encouragement further strengthens our commitment to service to the nation. We are fully prepared and committed to every possible contribution in nation building,” it is written in the tweet. 

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while wishing PM Modi on his birthday, tweeted, “ Happy Birthday to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji by realizing the concept of Antyodaya to Rashtrodaya. By the grace of Lord Shri Ram, likewise, continue to glorify Mother Bharati by moving towards the divine cause of ‘One India-Great India’. Longevity. Suyash: Bhavatu.”

On the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has also wished him a happy birthday.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has congratulated PM Modi on his birthday. Kejriwal tweeted, “Happy birthday Modi sir. I wish you well.”

Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb performed the aarti at the Tripurasundari Temple at Kalyan Sagar to commemorate PM Modi’s birthday this morning. He wished mother Tripurasundari good health.

On the birthday of Prime Minister Modi, in front of his office in Varanasi, his parliamentary constituency, the people made Rangoli and lit lamps on the eve of his birthday. In Coimbatore, BJP workers offered 70 kg laddus to Lord Shiva. Whereas in Vadodara, Modi’s home state, BJP workers provided insurance cover to 20 thousand people.
