Petrol Diesel Price Today: There is relief for the common people on the inflation front. Government oil companies have released the prices of petrol and diesel for Tuesday, May 10. Oil companies have given relief to the common people for the 34th consecutive day and the prices of petrol and diesel have not been increased.
Earlier on Wednesday, April 6, the price of petrol and diesel was increased by 80 paise per liter. Even today, Wednesday’s prices are in effect across the country. In 20 days, the price of petrol and diesel has been increased by Rs 10 per liter.
Since March 22, the prices of petrol and diesel in the country have been increasing. Petrol and diesel prices were raised on March 22 after remaining stable for a record 137 days. Earlier, petrol and diesel prices had not increased for a long time. From November 4 last year till March 21, there was no increase in the prices of both fuels.
Petrol in Delhi today has become Rs 105 41 per liter while diesel is being sold at Rs 96 67 paise per liter. In Mumbai, the price of petrol and diesel is Rs 120.51 and Rs 104.77 per litre. Petrol in Kolkata costs Rs 115.12 while diesel costs Rs 99.83 per litre. At the same time, in Chennai too, petrol is Rs 110.85 per liter and diesel is Rs 100.94 per liter.
