Oppo A12 now available at a discount of Rs 500: Check specs and prices

New Delhi (Anish Yande): Oppo has announced a secondary discount on the Oppo A12 months after the last discount. The prices of the budget smartphone have been slashed following the release of the Reno 5 Pro 5G. The smartphone was first launched in India in June 2020.

The prices of Oppo smartphones such as Oppo A15, Oppo F17, and the Oppo Reno 3 Pro are also reduced. 

Prices of the Oppo A12:

The prices of Oppo A12 in India were initially at Rs. 8,990 for the 3GB RAM and the 32GB storage variant. The prices have been revised to Rs 8,490 for the variant.

The prices of the Oppo A12 for the 4GB RAM and the 64GB storage variant were previously at Rs. 11,490. The prices have been revised to Rs 10,990 for the variant.

The discount on Oppo A12 is available on Oppo India’s platform along with online retailers such as Amazon and Flipkart. The price change is yet to be updated across all online retailers.

Specs of the Oppo A12:

The Oppo A12 comes with a 6.22-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 720×1,520 pixels. The display comes with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Oppo device weighs 165 grams.

Oppo A12 runs on an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor.

The camera specs of the Oppo A12 are a primary sensor of 13-megapixels with an f/2.2 lens along with a secondary sensor of the 2-megapixels. The LED Flash is placed alongside a pill-shaped camera module. The front camera is a 5-megapixel selfie snapper with an f/2.4 lens.

The Oppo device runs on ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9 Pie. Oppo A12 comes with a fingerprint sensor and also a face unlocks support.

The A12 packs a 4,320mAh battery. Oppo has stated that the phone provides 17 hours of video streaming and playback, up to 63 hours of music playback, and up to eight hours of online gaming. 

The storage can be expanded up to 256 GB through the microSD slot.
