Notice sent to Yati Narsinghanand, says not to visit Jama Masjid over fear of communal disharmony

New Delhi: Yati Narsinghanand, the priest of Dasna Devi Temple has yet again managed to initiate a fury over his plans. A video of him was doing rounds on the internet where he has expressed his wish to visit Delhi’s Jama Masjid.

A notice has been served by the Ghaziabad administration to Yati Narsinghanand in response to his video where he is allegedly claimed that he would visit Jama Masjid with the Quran and other books Islamic history.

Officials of the Ghaziabad administration have said that the notice was issued because his alleged video which was doing rounds on the social media could possibly lead to disruptions of communal harmony.

An official said that a notice was sent to Narsinghanand but he has not yet responded to it.

The official said, “The notice was served to Yati Narsinghanand at his residence at Dasna Devi Mandir on June 7. We have not yet received any response from him yet”.

The notice also says that a legal action is possible against Narsinghanand if he continues to fulfil his wish of making statements that could possibly disrupt communal harmony.
