A Reuters photo of a Muslim man being brutally overwhelmed by a Hindu mob grew to become the defining picture of religious riots that broke out in Delhi in February.
Mohammad Zubair survived the assault after he misplaced consciousness and was left for useless. However, he has critical accidents and spent days in hospital.
He spoke to BBC Hindi’s Debalin Roy about what he remembers of the assault, and why regardless of what occurred to him, he has not misplaced religion in humanity.
