NEET-UG Result 2021: Mrinal Kutteri secures AIR 1 with perfect 720 score

This year, Hyderabad’s Mrinal Kutteri has secured all India rank (AIR) 1. Not only has he cracked the coveted National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2021, he has also scored a perfect 720 and secured AIR 1. Though he shares the score with two other, he has been ranked All India Rank 1.

New Delhi: National Testing Agency (NTA) has finally published the answer key and results for NEET-UG 2021 exam. The exam was conducted on September which saw over 15 lakh students appearing for the medical entrance test. The result is available on the official website – neet.nta.nic.in.

This year, Hyderabad’s Mrinal Kutteri has secured all India rank (AIR) 1. Not only has he cracked the coveted National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2021, he has also scored a perfect 720 and secured AIR 1. Though he shares the score with two other, he has been ranked All India Rank 1.

Besides Mrinal, Tanmay Gupta from Delhi and Karthika G Nair from Maharashtra secured the perfect over.

According to the website, 1544275 students appeared for the test in 2021, an increase of 95.63 per cent compared to 2020 (1366945 students).

This year, the number of cities where the examination is conducted was increased from 155 to 202. The number of examination centres was also be increased from 3,862 used in 2020. In a first, the exam was also held at a centre each in Dubai and Kuwait.

Meanwhile, along with the result and merit list, NTA also released the final answer key and cut-off marks for the exam. So far, NTA has already announced the cut-off percentile for NEET 2021. For the General and General EWS category, it is 50th percentile. Whereas, for SC /ST/ OBC it is 40th percentile. However, with respect to candidates from the Person with Disability, the cut-off is 45th percentile for Unreserved category and Gen-EWS candidates and 40th percentile for SC /ST/ OBC-NCL candidates.
