New Delhi: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) took action and arrested Mumbai’s drug supplier Farooq Batata’s son Shadab. NCB had been searching for him for a long time now. NCB conducted raids at three places in Mumbai late on Thursday night. During this time drugs worth Rs 2 crore, a luxury car and a cash counting machine have been recovered from Shadab. The NCB conducted the raid in Lokhandwala, Versova area of Andheri as well as the Mira Road area adjoining Mumbai.
Shadab will be presented in the NDPS court today. It is known that Shadab Batata has been involved in the drugs business for quite some time and he used to supply drugs to Bollywood celebrities in Mumbai.
Farooq Batata is the biggest name among the drug dealers of Mumbai. Both of his sons have now taken over the entire operation of the drug trade and now finally after a long search and series of operations, Shadab Batata has been arrested by the NCB in a raid last night.
Significantly, Farooq is a major supplier of drugs such as LSD, ganja, cocaine, apart from MDMA in Mumbai. NCB is looking at the arrest of Shadab as a big success as it is believed that he supplied drugs at every major drug party in Mumbai.
