New Delhi (Anish Yande): Motorola Moto G8 and Moto G8 Power have started receiving updates for Android 11. The Motorola devices have received OS updates which have been in testing since last year. The Moto G8 Power was launched in February, running on Android 10 OS.
Users have stated that the update has the build number RPE31.Q4U-47-35. The Android 11 OS update is bundled with the February 2021 Android security patch. The update has been rolled out first for users in Columbia.
Specs and features of Moto G8 Power:
Moto G8 Power features a 6.4-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2300 pixels. The G8 Power could come with a standard refresh rate of 90Hz and a screen-to-body ratio of 85.1 percent. The G8 Power comes with a pixel density of 399 ppi.
Moto G8 Power comes with dimensions of 156 x 75.8 x 9.6 mm and weighs 197 grams.
The Moto G8 Power comes with a quad rear camera setup which includes a primary sensor of 16 megapixels with an aperture of f/1.7 and an ultrawide angle lens secondary sensor of 8 megapixels with an aperture of f/2.2. The quad-camera setup of G8 Power also comes with an ultrawide sensor of 8 megapixels camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 2 megapixels macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.2.
The Moto device features a selfie sensor of 16-megapixels with an aperture of f/2.4.
Moto G8 Power is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor.
The Moto device packs a 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support of 18W. Moto G8 Power runs on Android 11 OS, out-of-the-box.
Connectivity features of the Moto G8 Power include a 4G, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The fingerprint scanner is located in-display. Other sensors of Moto G8 Power include an accelerometer, gyro, and proximity sensor.
