New Delhi (Anish Yande): The Moto G 5G and Samsung Galaxy S21+ recently received certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards. The BIS Certification indicates that the release date of the Samsung Galaxy S21+ in the upcoming month. Check all details of the devices here.
Moto G 5G BIS Certification:
According to the BIS database, two Motorola devices with the model numbers XT2083-7, XT2087-3 have been listed on the database.
These devices were cleared by BIS on 18th and 27th November 2020. The XT2087-3 could indicate a variant of Moto G 5G.
According to FCC certifications and TÜV Rheinland, a device with a model number XT2087-1 was revealed at the Moto G9 Plus in US and European markets.
Motorola had previously announced that they would be launching the Moto G 5G on November 30 in India.
Moto G 5G Expected Specs:
The Moto G 5G has display specs of a 6.8-inch FHD+ display. The device reportedly has a Max Vision Display with a native resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. The camera setup is a quad-camera setup with a main lens of 64MP, an ultra-wide lens of 8MP, and two 2MP macro lens and depth sensors. The selfie camera is a 16MP.
The phone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC. The phone has a battery capacity of 5,000mAh battery with 30W TurboCharging support.
The Samsung Galaxy S21+ Receives BIS Certification:
On the Bureau of Indian Standards database, a device with the model number MG996B/DS was recently certified. The device is associated with Samsung, which indicates that the MG996B/DS device, would be released in the upcoming month. However, the database has no indications of the hardware of the device.
Expected Specs for the Galaxy S21+
The device would have a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with an LTPS panel. The display has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The triple rear camera setup has a telephoto lens 64MP sensor, an ultra-wide-angle lens of 12MP, and a primary sensor of 12MP lens. Samsung Galaxy S21+ is powered by the Snapdragon 875 processor.
The battery capacity of the device is 4,800 mAh with a 25W fast charging support. The base variant of the Galaxy S21+ has an 8GB RAM option and Android 11 OS.
