Moderate tremors felt in Delhi-NCR, parts of north India; epicentre at Pakistan’s Rajanpur

New Delhi: Moderate tremors have been felt in Delhi-NCR area and a number of other parts of north India on Sunday (April 12). The tremors have been felt at 5:45 pm in the present day. No casualties or harm to property has been reported up to now.

According to reviews, tremors have been felt in Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Gurugram and a number of other adjoining areas of the nationwide capital, forcing folks to step out of their houses. 

The epicentre of the three.5-magnitude earthquake is claimed to be at Pakistan’s Rajanpur.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took to social media, expressing hopes that everybody was secure after tremors have been felt in the nationwide capital. “Tremors felt in Delhi. Hope everyone is safe. I pray for the safety of each one of you,” he tweeted.

Earlier final month, a 3.6 magnitude earthquake had jolted Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba.
