New Delhi (Anish Yande): Xiaomi has announced the Mi Smart Band 6 this week. The new fitness band from Xiaomi is the next in the Mi Smart series. Mi Smart Band 6 is the successor to the Mi Band 5, which was launched in 2020.
Prices of Mi Band 6:
Mi Band 6 without NFC is priced at CNY 229, which is around Rs 2,600. The Band 6 with NFC comes with a price of CNY 279, which is around Rs 3,000.
Specs and features of Mi Band 6:
Xiaomi Mi Band 6 would be featuring a 1.56-inch AMOLED display. The watch display of Mi Band 6 has a screen resolution of 152 pixels x 360 pixels. The Mi Band 6 has a peak brightness of 450 nits and a pixel density of 326ppi.
The Mi Band 6 packs a 125mAh battery which Xiaomi has claimed provides up to 14 days of battery life. In terms of connectivity, the fitness band of Xiaomi has Bluetooth 5.0.
Xiaomi has stated that the band would get water resistance of up to 50m depth.
The activity modes of Band 6 include indoor ice skating, HIIT, core training, gymnastics, pilates, street dance, dance, indoor fitness Zumba, cricket, bowling, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, indoor fitness, stretching, stepper, badminton, boxing, kickboxing. Mi Band 6 total sports modes up to 30.
The Mi device is equipped with a SpO2 sensor for monitoring blood oxygen levels and a heart tracking monitor for keeping a track of heart rate for 24-hours. The fitness band from Xiaomi is also equipped with sleep tracking features with sleep data displayed on the screen itself.
Mi Band 6 is equipped with a Pomodoro Timer for the management of screen time. Pomodoro Timer is used to adjust notifications for 25 minutes for better productivity. Sleep data can be accessed directly from the Mi Band 6.
The Mi device is used to check notifications from Gmail, Instagram, Discord, Messenger and comes with support for Google Assistant and Alexa. The Xiaomi Mi Band 6 also comes with enhanced GPS functionality.
