Massive IAF wargames in January amid tension with China, Pakistan

Amit Kumar Yadav, New Delhi: The Indian  Air Force (IAF) is gearing up to respond to the challenge of China and Pakistan in the new year. 

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is about to show its might in the month of January at the beginning of the new year amid tension with China in Ladakh. 

The Rafale fighter jets, the defenders of the skies of India, are about to challenge  China and Pakistan sleep with their migfhty roar. In January, Rajasthan is going to witness Indian Air Force (IAF) war games in Jodhpur. This IAF exercise will be called ‘Skyros’.

Rafale fighter aircraft of India and France will participate in these wargames to be held in the third week of January. According to reports, Rafale fighter aircraft of the French Air Force will come to Jodhpur to join the Skyros Wargames. These aircraft will show their power in the sky along with the Rafale planes of the 17th Squadron of the Indian Air Force (IAF), Sukhoi 30 MKI aircraft of IAF will also be part of these wargames..

It is necessary to mention here that these are different from the wargames which have been taking place between the two countries for more than a decade. Earlier in July 2019, the the Air Forces of India and France participated in a large exercise. This will be the first wargame for the Indian Air Force (IAF) involving the Rafale fighter jet.
