New Delhi: All authorities and personal liquor shops, which had been allowed to operate up to now in Delhi, shall be allowed to open all days per week, besides dry days, between 9 a.m. and eight p.m., the Excise Department stated on Monday.
An Excise Department official stated that an order has been issued which says all of the shops having L-6 and L-eight licenses are allowed to perform all day between 9 a.m. and eight p.m.
While L-6 is for the federal government-run retail vends of Indian liquor, L-eight is for the retail vends of nation liquor.
For the non-public shops, the order, a replica of which is with IANS, stated solely these which had been allowed to operate on an odd-even foundation after May 19 shall be allowed all day and the timing has been modified from 9.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. to between 9 a.m. and eight p.m. now.
Total 76 non-public liquor shops had been allowed after May 19, the official added.
