New Delhi (Anish Yande): Lava, the indigenous smartphone brand, has launched a one-of-a-kind customizable series of smartphones. The Lava smartphones were launched on January 26, 2021, a part of the company’s measures to promote its Indian developmental process. The smartphone manufacturer has launched its Zup program in India.
How to upgrade Lava Z1 through Lava ZUp program:
Lava had launched the Lava brands My Z, and ZUp plans on January 7, 2021. The Lava device is available on e-commerce sites.
The Zup program consists of the Lava Z1, Z2, Z4 and Z6, and MyZ smartphones. For the Lava Zup program, customers can visit Lava’s official website and book an appointment for visiting the nearest Lava center.
After choosing the upgrades, users can select the specifications they want to get upgraded. Users can select new phones with specified RAM and storage variants or upgrade existing phones.
Sunil Raina, the President of Lava International, has stated that Lava has more than 800 service centers spread across India. The company also has 100 mobile service centers in the country as well. Users would be required to pay an incremental charge for upgrading the components of the Lava devices.
Prices and Specs of Lava Z1:
The Lava Z1 comes at a price tag of Rs 5,999. Currently, the phone comes with a discount of Rs 4,999.
The Z1 features a 5-inch TFT display with a resolution of 720×1200 pixels. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass protection. According to Lava, the phone is certified with military-grade protection.
Lava Z1 features a smart AI rear camera of 5-megapixels and a selfie snapper of 5-megapixels. The Lava Z1 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek Helio A20 processor. The Z1 packs a 3,100 mAh battery.
The base variant of the Lava Z1 comes with 2GB RAM and internal storage of 16 GB. Connectivity features of Lava Z1 include 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth5.0, support for dual-SIM, and an accelerometer,
