Lava MyZ: Lava launches world’s first fully customizable phone series

New Delhi (Anish Yande): Indian smartphone maker Lava Mobiles has made a notable comeback with a one-of-a-kind offer for users. Lava Mobiles has offered users the ability to customize the upcoming Lava phones they buy. The fully customizable series of phones is named Lava’s MyZ series. 

Details of Lava MyZ series:

The upcoming series of smartphones would be available through two programs. ‘Build MyZ’ and ‘Upgrade MyZ’ are the two programs offered by Lava, which would enable users to customize their phones. In the ‘Build MyZ’ program, users can select specifications from a set of listed specs.

Through the ‘Upgrade MyZ’ program, users can change the RAM and storage specs of their phones after buying them. 

According to the announcement by Lava, the smartphones could be customized in up to 66 different combinations. The options for changing specifications include changing ROM, RAM, rear camera, front camera, and also the phone color.

The company has said that the MyZ series is unprecedented in the 25-year history of smartphones.

Lava launches new phones under Lava MyZ series:

The Indian smartphone maker also announced its newest series of smartphones designed and manufactured in India. The new Lava Z series would constitute the Lava Z1, Z2, Z4, and Z6 phones.

The specs of the Lava Z1 is a 5-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The display comes with a screen resolution of 720p. The Lava Z1 is powered by a MediaTek Helio A20 processor. The camera specs of the Lava Z1 is a 5 megapixels rear camera and a 5 megapixels front camera. 

The Lava Z1 packs a 3,100 mAh battery. The phone with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage is priced at Rs 5,499.

Lava has also announced the launch of Lava Z2, Z4 and Z6 phones. These devices are set to come with a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display. The Lava Z2 and Z6 devices are set to run on a MediaTek Helio G35 processor. The devices would come with a 13 megapixels primary sensor and a 2 megapixels secondary sensor paired with an 8 megapixels front camera.

The prices for these devices range from Rs 6,999 to Rs 9,999.
