KL Rahul tests positive for Covid-19 ahead of West Indies tour, may lose Team India spot

KL Rahul Covid-19 Positive: KL Rahul, the vice-captain of the Indian cricket team, is working on his fitness at the NCA these days and has to undergo a fitness test before the upcoming West Indies tour. But before that, a problem has cropped up for KL Rahul.

According to news agency PTI, KL Rahul has tested positive for Covid-19 and now his chances of representing India during the upcoming West Indies tour are in disarray.

KL Rahul was injured just before the first match of the five-match T20 series against South Africa and was replaced by Rishabh Pant. He then underwent a hernia operation in Germany and to regain his fitness, he is at present at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore.

KL Rahul was included in the Indian squad for the five-match T20I series against West Indies and was scheduled to undergo a fitness test later this week before leaving for the tour.
